Terms
Plain-English terms of use.
A formal Terms of Service will accompany public launch. This page sets out the principles teachers and schools can rely on now.
Free for schools
NOV20 is free for every classroom that takes part. There is no fee to register, no fee to be matched, and no fee to access teacher resources.
Your school's policies always come first
NOV20 provides scaffolding — matching, resources, a safeguarding checklist. The exchange itself is teacher-led and school-supervised. Where NOV20 guidance and your school's policy differ, follow your school's policy.
No pupil contact details
We will never ask for pupil personal data, and your registration should never share pupil contact details. The exchange is between classes, supervised by teachers.
Independence
NOV20 is independent. We do not act on behalf of, and are not endorsed by, the United Nations or UNICEF. Where we reference World Children's Day, we do so descriptively to help schools mark the day.
Liability
NOV20 facilitates introductions between schools and provides resources. The conduct of the exchange itself is the responsibility of the participating schools. NOV20 accepts no liability for the content, conduct, or outcomes of an exchange.
